About Us

Hudson Valley C.A.$.H. Coalition (Creating Assets, Savings and Hope) is a group of business, community, education, government, religious, and social organizations dedicated to helping families and individuals in the Hudson Valley save money and improve their financial stability.   Primary members of the Coalition are:

In its tax preparation program for senior citizens and lower income families, CASH is assisted by the AARP Tax-Aide team.  This team with over 40 years of experience in tax preparation, provides volunteers with training needed to become effective tax preparers.

Hudson Valley CASH Coalition has been providing tax preparation services to the community for 7 years.  In 2011 in Dutchess County, 3,019 tax returns were filed, providing $4,113,090 in tax refunds and credits. 

In addition to improving the lives of people in our community, we are committed to providing clients with outstanding service and to protecting the confidentiality and security of their personal information.  We can only do so with the dedication of many volunteers who take the time to become trained, follow strict guidelines established by AARP Tax-Aide and the IRS, and treat all clients with dignity and respect.
